Softlink Central Europe was present in 2017 as the main sponsor of the National Conference of the Librarians' Association of Romania. The event took place in Brașov from September 6 to 8 and brought together over 300 librarians and specialists in information and documentation science in a professional meeting dedicated to all types of libraries.

The 2017 edition, held under the title "Libraries. Society. Multiculturalism" aimed to present figures from the field in Estonia, Iceland, Norway, and the Republic of Moldova to the professional community.

Participant registration and management of event activities were handled using the individual membership card via the automated conference management system provided by Softlink. Furthermore, Softlink also sponsored the event website, the website of the Librarians' Association of Romania, and the website of the Romanian Journal of Librarianship and Information Science.
